ACUTE HEART FAILURE

This line of research is led by the Acute Heart Failure working group of the Sociedad Española de Medicina de Urgencias y Emergencias (Spanish Society of Emergency Medicine): a multidisciplinary group including several Spanish hospitals, whose objective is to conduct research on this pathology. Within this group, HUCA leads the part of the research that focuses specifically on new and classic BIOMARKERS, their importance in prognosis and their inclusion in risk scales.

This is a line of research exploring both new biomarkers and new indications for those already available in emergency medicine, primarily for cardiovascular disease but also for pathologies with other aetiologies, such as infectious disease.
